Theres good and bad news....

The good is that my retired Father is now having a go at golf and enjoying a couple of rounds a month with me - he's already beating me for distance, which is a bit of a bugger !!!!

The bad is that although he has tried my current Irons, some 1980 hand-me-downs and some of his neighbours gear, the ones he prefers are my first set of Howson Hunters.  To be honest, I still like these too !!!!

All well and good, but I only ever had a half set, so I'm trying to find the other half (or a full set to nick the missing ones from) for him. 

The half I need are 4, 6, 8 & PW...

Can't find them anywhere on Internet shops and so have been monitoring Ebay for a couple of weeks and sites like Gumtree and AdTrader. 

If anyone has further suggestions for looking or knows anyone with these for sale, I'd be interested...

i might be able to get you some. i used to have some that i sold to a friend, maybe i could get them back off him.

have you got howson hunter woods because i have a 3 and 7 and have beem  looking for a 1 for years

Only ever had the 3 wood that came with the Irons I'm afraid Ivan.  My Dad belts that the best part of 200 yards - I'm lucky to get 120 with it (can't get it airbourne).

If your mate no longer needs them, let me know - Should have said it's steel shafts I'm after, as I have seen the Hunters in Graphite.
