I have got the sand wedge but did not get the loft - i assumed all sand wedges were 56 as standard. I dont actually use it at the moment though - im playing with a high bounce (16) progen wedge. I find this easier to get out of thick rough and soft sand than the MD which looks about standard bounce probably around (10-12) For the harder sand I have a Mizuno MTP in 58 with 10 bounce

What handicap to you play off Walker? do you sit a gap wedge in between your PW and SW?
I dont currently have an official handicap - i use Todays golfers handicap program which puts me at 23. I have an MD 52* players gap wedge and a Mizuno MPT 53* gap wedge - I have not decided which one i prefer yet!

Excellent! i have a set of the progen gunmetal wedges 52,56 & 60 and a 49 cleveland 588 so will have decide on the best set up from this lot!! how does the bladed 9 iron feel against the muscle cavity 8 iron? are they forgiving at all?
In all honesty I cant say that I notice a differance! The only clubs i dont really use are the 3/4 irons (sometimes 3 off the tee). for some reason they feel a bit lighter and dont fill me with confidence on the fareway so i mainly use the 5 iron as a second shot on a par 5. I have a progen gun metal 62* that never sees the light of day - impulse buy! way to much loft I think that lower irons seem forgiving but if you catch the 3 or 4 iron wrong your hand is going to hurt. For me i think they give a good balance between feedback / forgiveness

Yep can't wait now......................... i have just checked my email and MD have got back to me about the lofts. the sand wedge is 54 degrees. which is the same as my eye2 SW that i don't use.

Well i have used them at the range a few times now and they do feel nice, very nice. The biggest difference i have noticed is the increase in distance, probably a club more i'd say. the 8 iron was flying the 150 marker. Not sure what to do though as i have been playing really well with my ping's and just bought these cos' they look gorgeous. i suppose the sensible thing is to stick with what i know and trust.......... but they do look so good!! i may be tempted to stick them back on ebay, unless any one here is interested?

Hmm, could be interested, I think they are forged are they not? I'm after the heads mainly, do you know what lie they are? I am thinking about building some clubs and as I'm 6'3" I need slightly longer shafts (1/2") so would swap them out and around 2° upright. Anyone know how much it costs to get the lie adjusted in a pro shop? How much you looking for?
usually about 25 quid a set Andy and pretty sure those TC01's are forged.

A clean, progressive cavity designed for the avid player who appreciates a classic blade profile in a progressive low-offset design. Precision cast in 431 stainless steel, then subjected to a special annealing process to give the irons the soft feel more commmonly associated with forging and finished with square grooves. That is the blurb on the irons. ANDY, You can have them delivered for £50
