I have one and like it. I have the 9 degree with prolaunch blue stiff shaft. Has certainly seemed to straighten me out, but When I was on the launch monitor the pro couldnt belive I was currently using a reg shaft. So perhaps its the stiff shaft that has helped me... I dont know, But I do like it. Nice sound off the face and pretty forgiving.

You can pick up 425's pretty cheap now. I would suggest that as opposed to the draw. You can set the 425 however you want.

GS I have had the R7 Quad, top club. The TM Draw is much the same, I think it is the 460cc model and if it is then I would recommend it. IMO the 460cc is what turns it around, the extra size does increase the forgiveness . How much ?

i can pick one up for £129 with the re ax shaft, being as my shape with the driver is a very slight fade with my current g2 im considering giving it a bash. I cant draw the g2 when needs be so maybe i need a bit of technology to help me ????

The only thing im worried about is i dont want to end up with a hook, i usually hook when trying to draw the g2. im happy with my natural shot which is a slight fade but when i need a slight draw on certain holes i cant produce it with the ping, i know some of you will say that i need to sort my swing out first before swapping clubs but i can draw every club in the bag when needs be except for the driver, never have been able to without endangering a sharp hook

A few months back you could get the R7 425 for £125 on Direct Golf. As you say the swing is the thing and you don't want to end up with a 'Hook' club or something you have to swing differently. I suggested the 425 so you could set for draw or back to neutral if you don't like it. Go to a shop or range and try various ones out till you get one that suits in your price range. I dumped my 425 at the end of last season for a Cobra LD - you can pick these up cheaper now as well I think. It is much more forgiving and I can draw it. I have worked hard the last 6 months but have turned a slight fade to a slight draw. I also have it changed to a Graffalloy Blue Stiff shaft. A lot of problems can be solved by getting the correct shaft, not correct head.

Imo you should stick with the 460 head, the 425 is a lot less forgiving and imho the movable weights are highly suspect and only work a smidgeon if hit hard from the middle, and even then it aint much, plus the Rombax shafts are tip stiff

My R7 draw sorts my high H'cap slice out a treat, but friends with mid teen H'caps find it produces a hook with very little effort, saying that I have got the High loft version wich has an even more closed face than the lower loft ones, so what helps me would hinder them and possibly yourself

 |
Im wondering if my inability to draw my g2 driver is because of the aldila nv 65 shaft in it, perhaps a softer shaft might be in order what do you think?

 |
If you want to draw a driver and can't do it yourself then just buy one with offset and draw weighted

i bought the TM r7 driver due to my fade off the tee. tried it out first on the range,TM had their demo kit there.finished up with a ladies shaft fitted. i must say it has helped me to get down to an 18 handicap. very happy with it.
