Hillbilly Terrain - Handle twisted to right?

Hi all,

I have now looked at 4 of these trolleys at 3 different American Golf stores and on each occasion, when viewed from behind the trolley (i.e. where you would be if you were using it) the main  handle looks as though it is twisted to the right by about 1-2cm i.e. 1-2cm from horizontal.

Have American Golf got a dodgy batch? Is this a "feature" of the trolley?

Can any owners confirm or refute this?

Doubt if it would be a 'feature' as the handle is universal - left or right hand use.

Personally I do not think that the Terrain is an improvement over the discontinued Hill Billy range (designed pre Powakaddy takeover) - which were renowned for being bulletproof (I know, as I have one)

...... then again, that's probably the problem - longevity is not a desirable thing in modern consumer goods.

I hired a Hill Billy when I was out in Portugal the other week with a view to buying one - I know that these things are used daily and everything but there was no oomph at all to it getting up even the easiest incline was hard work for it. I've had a look at a number of options since and was hoping to get a"returned" Motocaddy S1 from their website but this option has been removed!

After a nbit of research I've just taken delivery of a PowerPro 250. I ordered it on Sunday, delivered at 11am today, looks great, build quality appears very good and 2 year warranty - all for £179. 'll submit a review after a couple of rounds at the weekend but so far so good...

Just odered my dad a power pro 250 sport. What a great trolley, very light and easy to use, powerful and the warranty is brilliant. If you look at some of the review sites it beats the Hill Billy, Powerkaddy and Motocaddy by a mile. They also supply a 2nd battery for £34 or you can upgrade to 27 or 36 hole batteries but I wouldnt recommend this as it doesnt work out any cheaper but adds a lot of weight. It is so light that it is easy enough to freewheel it round a course in an emergency.

Monkeytaff - Was that one of the new Hillbilly Terrains or the older models?

I had one of the older models way back when..and you're right they lacked any oomph! Probably because of the small battery and motor...which led them to insist on a 12kg bag weight limit!

The new Terrain looks like it has come out of the same factory as the Motocaddy S1 and has a similar 200W motor.

The Powerpro 250 you linked to states it has a 150 HE motor...anyone know what HE stands for..and how it compares to Watts?

JC - I think it was an older model I hired to be fair. And I have no idea what HE stands for! I have also to admit that price was the final factor in my decision process, but like I said it looks and feels quality.

Probably just a company buzz word for high efficiency, doubt it means anything else more meaningful, just bragging theirs is better than anyone elses.
