Didn't they bring out they MRR wedges with a more rounded leading edge? Perhaps this might be the option if you want mizuno but struggle with the MPTs?

I need a sand iron, so which one would be more suitable or in anyones opinion 'better' for playing from sand, 56-13 or the 58-10?

Thanks

Got a 54 Mizzie MP-R Black Nickel and a Cleveland 588 DGS 60 degree lob. I use both from the bunkers depending on conditions and how far the pin is away from the ball.

In this modern age there is no such thing now as a sand wedge, like the old days with a 56 degree club.

I'm in the market for a new 56* wedge as well. I've had a look at the MP-T and the MP-R and think the R is a much more playable wedge. The grind on the sole allows for more creative shotmaking around the green, I'd imagine.

Just tell the missus that the bunker is a sand pit for the kids!

MP-R were the newer version, don't suppose anyone has seen these for £30...

sure they did a 2008 model with a different sole grind and it had the mizzie sign on the bottom.
