I have all ready asked about the Sasquatc 460 on this forum and you all love it but I am having trouble finding any range were I can hit one as there 2 years old. I have also heard great things about last years model the one up from the Sasquatch the Sumo. The traditional head model. I think I know a driving range were I can go try one but before that are they any good?

Thanks Sam

If you live around the Leeds area you are more than welcome to try my Nike Sumo 460 (older model played by Tiger). The local range here still has last years model in both square and original for sale/trial too.

I have the SUMO 2 (the square one) which is excellent for me. I know that a lot of people don't like it, but different strokes, as they say!.........

Direct Golf Stock the old version Sumo 2 if you're near one of their stores.

I got last years sumo 460 a few weeks ago, lovely club, pretty consistent and long, perhaps my launch angle is a little to high with it so I am waiting on a new shaft to be delivered.

My local shop also has last years models still for sale.

You can pick them up at bargain prices now too, just make sure it is not the + model which is not legal (I think)...

Im living in South Wales my local range has the new 5000 not 4950 but apparetly there is only a slight difference so if I can hit one I can hit the other.

Thanks for comments

I can get a good second hand club off GolfBidder for £99 so may not need to buy 1st hand as I have no prefernce. Im a bit unsure about eBay due to fakes but have not made a decision on the driver as I havnt hit one yet!

I'm contemplating one of the Sumo fairway woods actually. Any good? I don't have any current comparison due to the fact that I don't own a 3 wood yet!

ive used the not square one a few times well 3 times actually, and i nailed all 3. get it its uber!

just dont hit it more than 3 times, or my advice is worthless haha. seriously if i was goning to buy a 3 wood it would be that one

Its not the square driver im loking at. Went on direct golf no driver for £129 im going to spend £110 max. I also have a very good 3 wood as my G5 is serving me well. Also not to sure about shaft's. Im using a Wilson DeepRed at the moment 305cc head (less forgiving) with a stock stiff shaft im pushing it quite abit so would a regular shaft help? I have a reg shaft on my 3 wood and im hitting it very vell of the tee and floor.

Good news hit the 5000 today at the range (reg shaft) and really liked it. Hitting them straight so will be looking for the 4950 in the future.

Thanks for help
