I've accumulated a fair bit of pro shop credit in the last 2 years and am looking for a premier pair of shoes and was wondering what you guys suggest.My last pair of shoes were dryjoys and they,ve lasted a good 4 years with little maintance.So if you could give me your suggestions i'd be grateful.I tried ecco but found them a tad narrow!

 Just make sure there's plenty of heel padding in what you buy I got heelspur from a cheap pair I won and it took £120 at least in gel pads and other aids that didn't work and 2 cortizone injections - eventually 13 months to heal. I aint sorry in bringing this up again because I wouldn't want anyone (well anyone I like) to go through it for the sake of a few quid.

If you got 4 years out of your DryJoys, I would buy another pair and be done with it
But, If looking for a change, then try..... Bite, Crowbar's, they have the Pronate insoles, wide foot and bloody comfy, feel like your wearing slippers, look around, RRP, £100, I purchased for £55

 This is possibly a negative post.Like you I need a wide fitting,and have found the footjoy Aqualites to be the ones to go for.I've just purchased a new pair (this is my fourth pair of Aqualites),but the quality is certainly not what it was.I'll be watching future posts on this thread with interest!

I tried ecco but found them a tad narrow! Given that Footjoy do width fittings, I'd be surprised if Ecco didn't.

 In my experience adidas last 18 months, Nike last 1 year if lucky and I am currently well into my 3rd year of Dry Joy PROs and I haven't even had to change the laces! Feet were starting to ache a bit recently so replaced the insoles for about £15 and they feel great again. I think the question you are asking should be which Footjoys you should go for???

 I am on my 3rd pair of tour 360s - paid for only one!, the older style appear to have a flaw in their contruction - the sole is in 2 pieces and can split if the shoe is not 100%.

 The 360 limited do a wide version also and are amazingly comfy.(£100-£120). How long they will last i have no idea though. Doubting buying a pair now myself after hearing Niel Fryer's post!!!

 I've got the 360ltd and they are really comfy. So far they have held up to about 30 rounds of golf in 4 months'ish with no sign of wear (i do clean my shoes after every game though). Also have a pair of Nike SP-8's that are a year old and have had some heavy wear over the autumn/winter months last year and they are still in good condition also.

I think Footjoy are undoubtedly a fantastic shoe brand but if only the look of there shoes was as good as there comfort and durability.I know looks shouldn't be important but they ARE!! Adidas have done it for me this time i think. -Cheers Kefkef

 After getting through 2 pairs - I dont like the Adidas 360's. They are flimsey and they leak. Footjoy all the way for me. I currently use Reelfits. they are very comfy.

 I've now played a few sodden rounds in my Stuburt Helium Pro 11 and they are very comfy and leak proof.
