Thinking of buying one. But there's that many on the market. Would rather buy a leading brand, but not to sure which. What are the best ones about? This is my first thread, so be kind.

Thanks for that. Funny, my mate just emailed me a link to that gokart site. They seem to be getting a lot rave reviews. But still not sure what to go for, you know what your getting with powakaddy but not with the rest.

Anyway, as you say, there's loads to choose from but here's my tuppence worth.
I've had a Powakaddy. It was rubbish and I had it repaired 5 times within the first year.
I've had a Hill Billy. Also had loads of problems and I've given up on it completely after 2 years.
Just bought a Motocaddy 2 weeks ago for £269. So far it's fantastic. Really quiet, light to lift into the car and folds up easily. I'm especially impressed at the elastic straps it has to hold the bag on. I have quite a large bag and on the Motocaddy it's as steady as a rock, unlike all other trolleys I've tried.
But as you'll see on the other thread, each brand have their fans and their foes.
Ask your playing partners about theirs.

Cheers LGL, most of the guys at my club have the Powakaddy, so think they will all be bias towards them. But I'm not too sure about them, they seem to be quite heavy and bulky. Not very handy if your taking your own car with a couple of other sets of clubs.

 Love my GoKart, and the service from them, but as others have said there are several threads dedicated to that one alone!

 I bought a Motocaddy S1 Digital last month and love it. Quiet, packs down small, battery easily does a full round. You can also get some good deals on refurb ones with guarantees if you look on eBay or contact Motocaddy themselves.

 motocaddy s1 had mine about 10 months now and it great it's light and powerfull and if you get the bag with it it locks in place

We have a Motocaddy S1 & S3, both are great trolleys, whisper quiet and powerful. The S3 has a battery that will easily do 36 holes. They are both lightweight and easy to unpack/pack into their travelling bags.

I bought ours from direct golf, if you are lucky enough to be near one, go down and have a look. They threw in the cover for free, so it wasn't a bad deal.

Must admit the Motocaddy does'nt look as robust as the powakaddy. Will have a look. Thanks all for your help.

 Have a look at the powerbug elec trolleys. Easily covers 27 holes with a 18 hole battery, lightweight, easy to assemble and operate and very good after sales service if required. And can be found for under £200. Latest model now has an off/on button and speed dial so you can set it to go to your pace, as opposed to just a rotating dial which wasn't easy to set the cart moving to your pace but still ok.

 Also take a look at the Powerpro 250 - great price at £169.99 with 2 year warranty. I've had mine for 3 months and really pleased with it.

Scott, I have had the S3 for about 18 months and no problems at all. I am surprised you say the powerkaddy looks more robust, I certainly can't see any issues in that area with the S3. Battery is for 27 holes, I have used it over 54 holes without recharge and it is fine. Very quiet, be surprised if there is a quieter one. The new S3 also has additional features to mine which look good, ie the new straps, turn off distance meter, set trolley to stop in 10,20,30 yds etc.
