GlenMuir  now have a range of waterproofs that seem to be excellent value for money. Haven't had a real downpour to test my Rain bloc light yet but no doubt will soon.

Just to ressurect this thread and maybe someone might find this useful.

I picked this up on ebay for a pretty good price. After reading mumerous threads I was trying to find a Gore-Tex jacket as the rain I played in on Sunday was horizontal. All I need to find now is some decent trousers.

Above is one of the best deals on the net if you want a decent set of waterproofs for sensible money.

I have the Neptune suit and love it.  Keeps me dry and is whisper quiet when you swing.

Mind you, looking out of the window today I wouldn't know if anything would keep the elements out!

I'd recommend the Sunderland Tournament - it's what I'm using at the moment. It is comfortable, well fitting, breathable, fairly cheap and waterproof in the worst of weather. Try it mate
