Intrigued by your first post, but unable to help as I don't recall ever coming across a petrol model.

(I guess I would have heard one....! )

Lots of discussions on GM about various buggies: just type into the Search Forum box.....

I have used both Petrol (great they way they work)and electric and to be honest do not think there is much difference at all, I know you say you have had no problems but I would have thought that the petrol version would be more prone to problems as there are more parts, and then there is the green issue and electric is eco freindly but has to be charged after a couple of rounds. The petrol one can go all day( and is a little quicker ) or until you run out of fuel

My own view if I had the money to buy one is I don't know as they both have benifits so after giving my opinion I can't help .

The electric ones don't choke you with fumes if the wind blows in the wrong direction!

The petrol ones do not run when stopped they have a soft start system same as BMW have started using on thier cars, I must admit that I have never smelt the smoke from any petrol buggy but maybe Woodlands golf clubs are all in tip top condition.
