I've got a Powerbilt Slugger with the aldilla vs proto shaft. I tend to hit the ball very high and therefore lose distance. Hitting into the wind is no use as the ball just balloons up and i might as well hit my utility club.

Anyone else playing this shaft and having similar high ball flight?

I hit my hybrids on a nice trajectory. They've got the Proforce V2 shaft. If i got a driver with the same shaft, would that help my ball flight?

I'd love to have the money to go and get  custom fit for a driver, but i don't.

I have this shaft in extra stiff fitted to a 12 degree Ping Rapture and find it's a high launch low spin Driver.  Trajectory is perfect for me.

Into the wind doesnt really affect flight massivly, no more than any other Driver I've played.

Not sure anyone will be able to give you a definitive answer on whether or not a certain shaft would work.  I would suggest visiting a Pro. 

Custom fitting shouldn't cost you anything these days as any cost is redeemed against the price of the clubs your buying.
