I am thinking of buying an electric trolley and have been led to Razer Fish Trolleys, similar to those of Hill Billy.
Does anyone have any advise as to this company,ie.,are they quite reputable ?

Not heard of them Chris and no reference to them on Google - therefore I would have my doubts as to their after sales service.

The only Hill Billy clone I have seen is the 'Hillier' trolley, almost identical in design but bragging some sort of suspension and a reverse facility.

The price is only a bit cheaper than the best in the business but yer pays yer money and.............................................................

They make electric scooters. Their website is http://www.razor-fish.com/home

You can find the trolley there

I bought an electric trolley that was not a "named" make to save money but the after sales service was terrible. While everything is resolved now and the trolley is working fine if I was buying again I would be looking to buy a better make in the hope of better service.

I've been on the Razor website but just wanted some feedback if anyone had already bought from them as to what they may be like with regards tp quality and reliability ! Advice anyone !?!

Yes, I have seen the site, this is the same type of trolley that was being sold on e-bay under various names.
I bought one badged as Kaddymax - it was total crap.
Bit subjective I know but facts were, so poorly balanced that it wouldn't run along on its own without tipping over backwards and scattering clubs along the fairway. The motor is so poorly located that it moves around and the bearings squeak. The axle on two that I had did not run true and wobbled up and down. Motor was so weak I had to help push it up our steepest climbs.

My Hill Billy on the other hand trots beside me like a faithful dog, climbs hills all on its own, is quiet in operation and folds away quickly and easily. Star.

Many thanks for that Alan........I think that has just decided me !

Check THIS company out Chris, I have one of these and cant praise the customer support enough, and that's not because anything has gone wrong with the trolley, on the contrary nothing has gone wrong, it's just a very very good company to deal with, and the trolley's great to use.

Key in Gokart into the search facility and youll see for yourself how highly regarded these inexpensive trolleys are.

Had a look at that Hillman and I had one of those models bought cheap off e-bay for £80.

Look great at first but the first bit of rain gets in the electrics and the whole lot cuts out.  Changed the circuit board with the same problem.  Avoid like the plague, just not worth it.

Like Jim Hacker I now have the GoKart.

sorry to here about that robster had the hillman out in the bad scottish rain and had no probs
Show/hide user stats

It was the driving Scottish rain that did for mine.

Oh, and I also forgot to mention that the chrome on the screws was poor and started to rust quickly, and that the screws themselves kept working loose and I had to use threadlock on them.

GoKart knocks spots off it and still only £200.

Go to agree with Robster on the Hillman, my mate had one for Christmas and it was awfull, it wasn't stable, wasn't finished properly, was heavy and awkward to manoeuvre around the course and the bag supports looked like they wouldn't hold a handbag never mind a trolly bag.

He sold it on eBay for 100 notes.

to jim hacker looked at gokart on bunkered and i honestly think you need to take another look at the hillman light package and the other trolleys on this site.i have used this trolley consistantly in the driving scottish rain and had no probs .this trolley is half the price and comes with spares and is more robust but still light and folds down to the bag provided.I think maybe you have just been unlucky

Just bought a GoKart myself and can't praise it highly enough. Folds down easy, it's light, looks great and is so easy to use. It also comes with a carry bag (free) and as said the company are great to deal with.

Steven, don't judge a trolley by assumptions from looking at pictures. I bought this trolley because of the great reviews on this site (I've yet to hear a bad one).

In the case of the Hillman, the reviews on this thread alone would put me off buying one.
