I'm thinking of picking up a set of these second hand.

A question to anyone who still has a set - do they have serial numbers on the hozel like some mizunos or are they unmarked ?

Any other obvious forgery checks (are they ever forged) ?

Dave, they're serial marked just like other Mizzy's. I don't blame you for wanting a set as they're absolutely spanking good irons. I doubt very much that there are many forged versions of these about as the proliferation of forgeries really started a little after these came out. As it goes you're never going to lose lots of cash for the price you can get these for now anyway.
