I am looking to buy one of the new Powakaddy Freeway 2 trolleys and was wondering if anyone had one and what their thoughts are on the new model? Did look at the Robokaddy but seem to stay pretty expensive for 2nd hand Thanks Nimbleblade

I have been told of issues with quality, and quite a number of returns.

What? On the new Freeway II?? I've yet to even see one in the shops!

I remember issues with the last attempt of powakaddy's, certainly plenty of battery problems and many retruns to the store that resulted in the model being pulled. However, As JC says above. I've not actually seen one in the flesh yet and don't know anyone that has.

Looks very nice but I suppose it depends what you are after. For me, it's a lot of money for a golf trolley when for half that you can get a GoKart, Hill Billy, Motocaddy plus quite a few others. I have also heard a few stories about quality issues with Powakaddy but I am sure there are plenty of Powakaddy owners on here who are most satisfied with their product.

Cant say i have seen the Freeway 2 either but i can vouch for the Motocaddie S3. Good baterry life too. Tried to run my 26 hole battery down the other day after playing 18 on one of the most hilliest courses you have seen. Propped it up and ran it on full power. After 2 hours and about 10 miles traveled the battery indicator had only gone down 1 bar! I think my battery could solve the worlds energy crisis!

I've seen the white (greyish) version at our pro shop and it does look very good indeed. No idea on reliability issues, but, touch wood, I've never had any issues with my Classic Legend that I've got.

I saw one in our pro shop at the weekend - wasn't really looking closely but it looked a bit fresher than the old design - from what I have read and heard from others the Go Kart looks to be a very good and cheaper alternative

My old club has them in, and my info is from someone in their employ.

I had a look at one today when passing AG @ Top Golf Watford. I am a PK owner and to me it looked a bit cheap looking and at £450 I would rather buy an older PK Sport Digital for £379 and spend the difference on Pneumatic tyre upgrades.

My old club has them in, and my info is from someone in their employ. I should just clarify, the employ is with PK not the golf club.
