I've had a few pairs of Stuburt shoes. They are very comfortable right out the box and give plenty of support. BUT, i've had a problem with them splitting inside the heel.

I've sent 2 pairs back over the last couple of years and I now have 2 pairs at home that are split and therefore unwearable (i keep them for spares because at a push with 2 pairs of socks they can be patched up to last a round with some Duck tape!)

I've probably just got odd shaped feet, but having had the same problem with pairs now, I think there may be a recurring fault.

currently wearing Footjoy AQLs which are a very good value shoe

Hi Paul. I wouldn't bother mate.I had a pair. I only wore them for 1 round in fairy damp conditions and the right 1 leaked like a sieve. Considering that they were supposed to be waterproof, I sent them back claiming that they were faulty. I got my money back without any fuss tbh.

Do your self a favour and get a pair of Footjoy AQLs. Have Look at other members comments about the shoes and you will understand why.

Another vote of confidence for the FootJoy AQL range.

Superb shoes, superb price, fit straight out of the box.
