It seems to me that over the last few months, the only sort of tees that i've seen scattered over the front of the tees these days are the long 2¾ inch ones. Also the colour of these tees usually seems to be white for some unknown reason. surely it cant be just the few courses i play on ?

What lenght of tees do you guys out there use? Also I see brush tees being used more lately. This is starting to play havoc on my tee collection. As people are very carefull about picking the brush tees back up, and the long tees usually break. Pretty soon ill have to be heading to tescos a few months early to buy my own bag of 100. Instead of waiting to receive them for xmas from the missus, as my "big pressent" :)

Guilty mate ,as the big heads require them, but you can push a biggun in all the way,you can't stretch a short one for a different shot.
Big discounts on them on e bay too.

I was given some of those new "lift T's", played 5 rounds, not lost or broken one yet and the ball does seem to come off them well (no feel through the driver of hitting anything solid).

Never thought I would praise a T but these are good.

I find it depends on the state of the teeing area, on my home track (soft ground, long grass) I use the wooden silver (2 3/4")castle tees with my MP001 but on the likes of links courses where the ground is firmer and the grass tends to be shorter I find the white (2") or even yellow (1 3/4")castle tees work better especially when it's really blowing. The same holds true with woods and irons i.e. I step down a height on the firmer, shorter cut teeing areas.

I use them to Tuffers but still manage to lose some! Think they are great though and better than standard tees

Did you notice the extra 10 yards over standard tees?

Cannot say that it is down to the T's but I have been driving the ball better and longer since using them. They really are rather good.
