Enjoyed your report on the various product poll and am very surprised that no mention was made of the Titleist 975 J Driver.
This Driver is vastly superior to the 975D in respect of greater distance and even an'old guy'like me can hit it 20/30 yards further without too much bother....honest injun.

Do you know what driver Sergio Garcia uses Bill?

Bill, the reason that I asked was because I thought I saw Garcia wearing a 975J cap the other day, when he pipped Ernie Els in that play off. Garcia certainly hits that ball a long way!

Apparently Garcia and Woods are using the new "J" driver. I just bought the "D" and am in love with it. Plus it only cost £199 with the graffaloy shaft which is brill.
I am no fan of the thin-face drivers, in fact I've got an ERC2 on the bench. IMHO you get little or no feel when you hit the ball as the spring effect takes it out of your hands (haha). If you disagree I'll do you a good price on the Calloway!

Funnily enough I do in fact know which Driver Sergio plays with. It is a Titleist 975J with an 8.5 degree loft.
The only reason I know this is because it was given at the Nedbank Golf Challenge on a 'what's in the bag ptofile'.

Ball - Titleist Pro V1.
