My stand bag has finally given up the ghost and I really must get a replacement soon. Ebay seems to have a number of bargains but I have never come accross Sirris or Texan Classics before. The deals seem to good to be true ... I am a naturally cautious creature therefore if something does seem too good to be true then I am wary that it probably is.

Does anyone know anything about these brands of stand bag? Does anyone use one? All comments gratefully received.

Thanks

G

Gof HQ is in the shopping partners on the left suppliers of Texan Classics the bag is ok but qualtiy not as high as some of the more expensive brands but then expect to pay 3 or 4 times the amount.

How much are you looking to spend?

Direct Golf have 25 Ogio Voltage stand bags on clearance £50.

Worth keeping an eye on Direct Golf, a colleague got a Wilson stand bag £15

There has been talk on this forum of perfectly acceptable bags from the larger branches of ASDA for about £13 if memory serves. Got to be worth a punt..?

County golf (again, on the left of your screen) have some good deals: Wilson Mountain Pak 400 @ £39.99 (1/2 price), Mizuno 2005 Osaka 111 @ £39.99, Regal Exodus @ £24.99, RAM FX2 7 1/2" @ £29.99 etc... Take a look.

Thanks guys - I've checked out those sites and they will certainly be my backstop.

The Sirris 9004 looks like it is the mut's and goes for around £25 - 28. However if it all paint job and no guts then that is not money well spent....!

Ogio backs are top notch- they make the Callaway bags too. Had mine a year and it looks brand new, no sign of wear.

Can't recommend them enough.

Thanks Chip.

My current bag is an izzo and has been excellent - unfortunately one of seems has split and frayed.

Asda are having a clearance sale on golf bags.

STand bag, just under £13 and Carry Bag for £7.50.

I bought a carry bag before Christmas and can find nothing to moan about. Plenty of storage, water rolls off it, doesn't look horrendous and...Oh yes! it manages to hold all of my golf clubs as well..
