I use the oversize yellow brush tee for my driver..

The black one for my 3 wood

The blue one for my 5 wood

Just wish they had one for my irons..

I find a real difference..

I tried the lift tees but prefer the brush...

They do make brush tees for irons at least I find any size good for cleaning the grooves.

Pros don't use them because they just grab a handful of the freebies at the first tee, why buy something when you can get something that works for free.

Personally I like to vary the height of the tee according to the type of shot I am trying to hit so I just use ordinary wooden tees and work them back and forwards a bit so there is little resistance after the hit.

Pros don't use them FULL STOP.

Fair enough, if people want to use them. I can see the durability argument, as long as you can find them. The number of times I've played with someone whose spent ages looking for the buggers, very irritating and time consuming. I used a brush tee once and my partner laughed at it, which gave me the giggles and I couldn't hit the ball. Funny, but never again! I don't get people who use tees with the mark on them telling you how far to put them in the ground. Different people have different tee heights for starters, plus, what's wrong with finding out you're ideal height, then marking all your tees with a marker pen. A lot cheaper!

i use the white ones, near impossible to lose unlike the other multicoloured ones. Main reason is that it saves visiting the pro shop every couple of weeks to restock.

I wonder from a green point of view what's better - one bit of plastic which lasts a couple of months or bag fulls of painted wooden sticks which are left lying around everywhere?

As long as the wooden tees are made from recyclable material there's no contest. Manufacturing plastic is bad for the environment and the tees won't biodegrade either. Although, with the US pumping out 30 billion tonnes of CO2 every day it ain't going to make much difference! Enjoy this planet while you can.
