Where I can purchase tubes for my golf bag?
I do not want to go to the expense of a new bag, but I am fed up with my clubs rubbing against each other.

if you have carbon shafts i would advise against most discount shops will either sell or be able to get them

My new MX-17's which arrive tomorrow are carbon shaft. Why do you not recommend tubes, surely the damage is less by the tube than the clubs rubbing together?
At the moment my bag has 9 compartments.

The carbon will rub against the top of the tube causing far more wear, I would advise an organiser top that allows the shaft to hang free by locating the head We repair many clubs per week with this problem you can put strips of tape around the shaft to offer some cushion although in most cases not cosmetically appealing

Ok I will take your advice.
Thanks

I picked up my Regal 14 way divider graphite friendly bag for just £25 from Direct Golf may be worth a look around to see if anybody still has them going.
If they will fit your bag you could also consider the all in one club seperater which holds the club by the head Direct golf reference DCLUB (£13).
I am nothing to with them it's just I have a catalogue to hand.

_of_18th_n_berwick.JPG) Tubes do indeed make a mess of graphite shafts!

Thanks for the advice - i was just about to do the same as ManxSeagull.

New graphite MX-17's will not be arriving today.. bloody 2 week delay, so I have opted for steel shafts which are in stock.
I guess left handed clubs are not stocked as much as right handed. Annoying because I am right handed at everything apart from golf and cricket.
Will tubes be ok for steel shafts?

Bag tubes used to also be a grip wrecker as well as leaving a white wear mark on all your graphites shafts.
They do make it easier to insert /remove clubs but at a high wear rate & price in club repairs.

 |
The AGD near me does them for ten bob each (50p)
|
 |
TREV: Maybe a piece of tape or material of some sort could be inserted around the top of the tube.

Anybody ever used one of those dividers that JimP mentioned. Looks like a neat way of keeping your irons organised. Only £9.99 now http://www.direct-golf.co.uk/product/product.asp?product_ID=1893
Would be interested in hearing anyones views.

Ditto BT@Home. Doesn't look great but may stop the rattling and the need, on occasion, to tug with all my strength to get a club out.
I have the Mizuno Twister II which has the 'Kabuki club organisation system which separates clubs using the clubhead' built in to the bag - what a load of b*llshit that is.
|
 |
I have the original Twister Skeet, with the same system. Doesn't work for me either!
