i have read a lot of excelent reviews in mags about this driver . has anyone hit one or own one ?

Glad you've seen and heard about the new driver that's taking Europe and Japan by storm.
I have tried it.....several times.....and it's pretty damn good, but then again, I may be biased
since I was part of the design and development team that brought it to market.

Try it out at a demo (starting end of March) and see what you think.

One of my playing partners has one...Looks huge and my buddy hits it miles .."RIGHT" about 30 yards off line!

Very forgiving, but makes the rest of the clubs in the bag look tiny and impossible to hit! I still bash my VFT pass him!

Excellent value at the same price as your annual subs!

If he is hitting it right then he probably doesn't have the correct shaft. In general, it's probably because the
shaft is too stiff which means with his swingspeed it is not giving the head enough time to square.

Tell him to speak to the Pro/retailer to try one with a softer shaft. Remember, the shaft and getting the right flex
is one of the most important things in club selection and its performance.

Itis not a fade, but high push...probably due to the size of the head! It has cost him a fortune having specialist long tees made !!

No doubt they'll review the shaft flex for a "reasonable " cost"

thanks for the advice ryan i have just demoed it at a taylor made demo day at my local driving range. i have added at least 10 yds to my drives and it just gives you so much confidence tried the stiff flex but kept pushing it to the right the demo guy fitted me up to the reg shaft and i havnt looked back. i now hit a slight draw or straight down the middle .
bought the club on the demo night fantastic club

Great news - glad to hear it you got some good advice and found the right club for
you. Keep splitting the fairway, but keep an eye on the group in front!

Had a look at it Ryan, Jo Head is using it on Tour to great effect, she reckons its added another 25 yards to her game.

Looks like a brill club, will have to get my hands on one soon - hopefully!

Had one of these in my bag for 6 months now and they are excellent. Very consistent and LONG!!!! Given driving the golf ball a whole new meaning. TM have not produced anything quite so good and I have hit them all.
