Anyone tried these? Got hold of one recently and have tried it out the back (without a ball) was giving results of 56mph for irons and 70mph for driver, not sure how accurate these are or if a ball is required (will try at the range in next few days) Anyone compared one of these with a more professional setup?

My 7i is normally 135-140 yards at the range, can usually carry front of a 147 yard par 3.

hmmm,70 is on the low side, bearing in mind 140 on the range is affected by the low compression balls they use.I reckon you may be a bit higher. Why not try American Golf? They have simulators and I know some have said they might deliberatly 'flatter' the golfer, which I disagree with.My ss is 115 tested by a pro and at AG they got 115

if you are genuinley a 70 ss then you may need whippy shafts, but i suspect you are higher using the 7 as a guide

Thanks, due to my fast tempo some shafts can be too whippy, hence I get on so well with Grafalloy Blue, this is something I need to work on, another topic for Instruction I think!

Any way I am off to the range tonight and will give this a proper test. As I have since found based on my 56mph irons my 5 iron should go 125 yards.

56mph seems way too slow, I may be wrong, but I expect you must be topping 75mph with your irons....

Ok further testing last night, irons were coming in at 40mph and the 8 iron was 130yards carry at the range. So I think its way off.
