I'm about a 17 handicapper and I am looking for some new irons. I am unsure what would fit my game the best. Should I get the Taylor Made 300, 320, or the 360 series irons. Just tell me what you think since my handicap is 17.

I'd suggest you go for either the 320 or 360, but a good way to decide would be to go to one TM's demo days and try them all out and get some advice from their staff. Details at; http://www.taylormadegolf.com/euro/services/demo/index.asp

Brandon,

I recently tried the Taylormade 320 & 360 as well as the wilson deeper red 365. I found the 360 to be the most forgiving of the Taylormades, and it's size instills confidence. I prefered the wilson though. It seemed a more forgiving club than the other 2 although not as long.

American golf discount are doing the Taylormades for around £230 at the moment. A bit of a bargin, and they are very good at getting the right setup for your swing.

I reckon that as a 17 handicap (which is about the same as me) that you may as well go for the most forgiving clubs as possible. At the end of the day if you put any club in a pro's hands they'd shoot a low score. Therefore I don't think you need to worry about getting a club that you'll get too good for. I'd go for the most forgiving ever time - which I think is the 360 isn't it?

However, you might disagree, and I could be wrong?

Well due to the fact we are talking about purchasing golf clubs I would just like to give a word of warning about
www.direct-golf.co.uk, they do not supply a headcover with any club that you buy, instead you have to pay £10 extra and it doesnt say anything about it when you buy online.
If I hadn't really liked the club that I got, I would have been very smegged off with these bunch of 'pros'.
Oh and they sent me the club with the wrong flex, which was fortunate because I actually changed my mind after ordering.
