yeah does look that way I must admit, set aside £600 for bits but not looking good for bringing clubs back, will be able to get them cheaper on the net.

I did the same had a load of $ to spend out there but realised most of the stuff is almost as cheap on the net club wise.

A lot of the stuff is weighted so it costs the same ie over here £100 over there £175 = same price

There probably are some bargains out there but depends on what you are after.

I checked Edwinwatts.com for prices and as a guide, can recomend the outlet on I drive, there are also plenty of shops will try and dig out some stuff tonight.

Can also reccomend Highlands Reserve golf course (see pic on right)

Round of golf (early tee to miss rain)
Buggy Hire
Club Hire (cobra's)
Sleeve 3 balls
Lunch

Had an offer all the above for $60!

I don't understand 2 things

1: How people of 'our' standard are supposed to not notice a difference in balls. They all 'feel' different to me especially when putting etc.

2: Why people are losing so many balls :) if I lose 2 a round I'm gutted

Sorry Dollar sign did not come out.

Should have said:

Helps to protect profit margins.

If I lose 2 a round I am gutted as well. At the moment I play 3 competitions a week at my club. when I first joined in March i was using Pro v 1 that amounted to £18.00 a week. I now use Strata tour soft £30.00 for 36. At least I can now afford a IRN-BRU in the clubhouse. the rough is not so bad now I managed not to lose a ball on Sunday. And got cut 0.6.

For cheap shoes try the Nike and addidas outlets at Orlanado Premium Outlets or the reebok one.

Had Nikes for around $40-50

Olando premium outlet was good for clothes shopping.

Out the 3 shops we wnt to Edwinn watts on I drive was biggest and best.

Special Tee golf had some good offers.

Golf Liquidator was a bit poor but had offers on refinished Prov1 and HX tour think it may have been 3 dozen for $60

I fancy getting some footjoy p.r.o but if the Nike are on a good deal I might just get some of them.

I will try the 3 mentioned and see what I can get but looking more likely to be clubs back home. Dont suppose you seen the Cleveland Halo anywhere did you?

I have a mate that regurarly goes to america and on golfing holidays there and such, he says you can get a dozen callaway hx blue for £3, compared to the £29.99,

Having said that i picked up a class bargain at my local sports outlet, 30 brand new balls for under a tenner, Fair enough they were donnays but perfect for practice, the best balls on the market are, wilson dna spin, 9.99 from argos, great deal, great feel, supurb spin rates, class off the tee, dont scuff easy, last a good round!!!

Thats the best bet, they're cheap too, what a deal, miles better than pro v1, probably go further too!!!
