What is 'Cabretta' leather - what animal skin is it?

The finest and toughest leather for gloves that I have used is kangaroo skin.
Don't seem to be able to get it now - have the 'do-gooders'banned it?

Found out Cabretta is sheepskin.

Kangaroo skin is 400% stronger and can be made thinner. Also much better in the wet.

You dont seem to be able to get it in UK so easily - big uproar about Beckham wearing 'roo skin football boots.

The do-gooders are lobbying to get it banned

Australian company Kakadu still manufacture gloves at £7 each

as promised checked out Kakadoo Kanga golf gloves & Palm Meadows distributor; was away but tried a sample @ golf range is a good product & the sizes about same as mizuno

So @ Oz 14 bucks a gift range pro (a former head pro @ course)retails @ $19.50 & swears they do not slip when wet

similer product 'illusion' is 30 bucks

Will take credit card plus freight & I was offered UK distributor & @ Oz 14 bucks plus freight will be buying couple to try em

Ok yuall finally met up with & aquired box of med L/hand 'Kakadu' roo skin gloves feel Ok & will now give em a run particularly as price to me better than Mizuno tecflex

Hey Don, let me know what you think of 'em. I will sport the cost of freight to UK to purchase three if any good.

Have found with some gloves the Spandex bit across the knuckles goes baggy after a while.

but @ 12 quid & 36p say X 2.8 conversion to buck Oz put it @ about Oz 35 bucks & Kakadu even retails @ Palm Meadows for much less

Pay John W full retail (via credit card) & plus freight still come out cheaper & from glove labelling think he sends much of his stock to US & Asia

Wholesale $ rate minimum box a dozen gloves but if B/W happy with it, will sort a deal to 'magic mates' & a couple locals who want one or two also

So will check Oz/UK letter rate for you off hand maybe $3 Oz cheaper than 'Royal' mail

Mia not into leather & fearfull to thin may tear @ seams or stretch but 1st round used in drizzle very impressed yesterday but we shall see aye !!
