My swing: Have a look...
It works for me

Here is my swing, not the best I have ever done, timing was a bit off and was wrapped up cause of the cold, but that no excuse is it.

My club crosses the line at the top, a normal thing in my swing if you pause the vid at the top of my back swing you can see its not too bad, club head is fairly good a nice turn and keeping the spine angle well, all the pros I have worked with don't think I have a problem with taking it to far inside and say i bring it back to impact fine, I just think its very loopy over the top and ugly but it works and can repeat it, have a look, what do you think?

SWING LINK 1

This is what I do if I get board at the range. silly shots. This particular shot went far enough to disappear into the dark.

SWING ON THE MOVE

Hope these links work as had trouble with them before.

What club you usin green grass?

Legs seem to be a little too wide for a iron, unless you have got shoulders like Hulk Hogan

But hey if you can repeat it who gives a f**k, keep it up!

ha ha lol.

Yes looks wide doesn't it, but trust me its not as wide as it looks or I'd give myself a rupture by the time I got to the driver

Its was a 6 iron I think.

Greengrass, i can't trust you! That really does look way to wide, mate. Can you post a front on shot to ease my troubled mind??

its about right if your in the world long drive comp with a 50" driver, but for a 6 iron it needs to be alot narrower, try shoulder width, and a little further apart with the big stick!

ps love the happy gillmore though. Bet the top of the driver doesnt thank yer though when yer come straight under one

lol. I will try to find one

If not I will get a victim to film me next time on the range. if you look at the practise swings its a bit of a better view.

When I try the happy gillmore thingy I top the ball more than go under it, dont matter its an old crappy driver I don't mind braking it in half.

GG, looks like you`re about to sit on the toilet !!!  .... you wanna sort that out.

also, i can`t believe that`s a 6 iron swing....... needs to be far more compact, emphasis on accuracy..... not, hitting the shit out of the ball. (your PGA pro should be shot, stop paying him/her).

just one small tip for you..... avoid the range at all costs !

hope this helps.... all the best, L

sit on the toilet haha Firs time Ive heard it described that way I like it.

I never try to hit s**t out of the ball if I need a bigger shot I take more club

Bad timing issue on this swing, usually my swing is like the practise ones, my biggest issue is taking the club to far inside on take away this leaves no where els to go other than up and over.  When my timings on Its not an issue in my swing.

I feel my rhythm and tempo are fine, my driver swing speed is between 90 and 95 mph when measured on a monitor thingy in a shop and a good contact usually goes 225 to 250 yards overall depending on conditions (never measured iron speed for some reason?).

I have a question Lindsay, why avoid the range at all costs?

Its not the best place to go and can get boring at times I know, but if you have a good practise routine and practise correctly I see no harm, I use the range for fun things too like running shots and shots off my knees

Still waiting for my dad to come to the range to film me with his posh digital cam so can get a better slow motion film, from the front for 23rd man just to put mind at ease and down the line ( doubt he'll stand in front )
