Cheers for the info Gary.  I don't think I can persuade my partner in crime to leave any earlier - luckily we are the other side of Oxford, so Silverstone shouldn't affect us.

I guess I am easily pleased, as I'm looking forward to a good day out.  I'm sure that there will be plenty of good golf to watch, some goodies to purchase and maybe a rendeavouz with 1 Over.

Will watch out for Becky Brewerton and Rebecca Hudson in particular, now that Danielle Masters has withdrawn.

Sorry, watching even young, attractive, highly talented lady golfers in the rain at the Oxfordshire palls into insignificance for very many GM members I would think against the rival attractions of the British Grand Prix ( not a fraction of interest to me now that the cars are so technically advanced and do most of the work), THE GM event at Staverton(probably in the rain but at least they will be good companions and PLAYING) and how can the ladies possibly compete against the two finest players in the world competing in the Singles Final at Wimbledon. Absolutely no contest!

Off to the USA now but my son will record the men,s final for me.
