Corporate sponsors are sought for both the European and World Long Drive Championships 2008. 

The European Championships will be in England on 13th / 14th September,  the World L.D. Super Senior Qualifiers are held in the USA in August and September, and the World Championships are again held in the U.S.A.  on 20 – 25 October.  In total the two trips to the U.S.A.  will cost in the region of  £4,000., excluding equipment costs.

  Sponsorship is sought for quarter, half, or full expenses share of such sum. The sponsorship return is a chest embroidered  corporate logo (both events will be televised); oral and written endorsements;  and personal appearances and reasonable recommendation publicity if required.

 The World Long Drive Championships takes place across five divisions. I fall into the Super Seniors’ Division (ages 53-60 years) and my last year’s best competition performance of 345 yards secured me a high world ranking position. However, I cannot guarantee making it through to either of the finals of these two major events this year.  All I can do is my best. 

As there is no Super Seniors’ age division in Europe, in 2007 I competed  in the younger age division of Seniors (ages 45+  years) and my last year’s said best competition hit was the best hit (in any Seniors’ L.D. final)  in Europe for that younger age division.

What a waster. Wants money for his hobby but cant even be arsed to check if anyone replies.

Sorry mate but I can't think of anything more boring than a long driving competition and I'm not surprised you're struggling for sponsorship.

Thankfully golf is about more than just hitting the ball as far as possible. If anyone here has sponsorship money to spread about I'd hope they'd target it at "our man" on the Europro Tour - OTT. He's playing real golf.

I would have thought he could have sponsered himself from his company Viperregistrations.

But there again when he is maybe selling his Dodge Viper and renting or selling his Home maybe this is another way for him to raise cash anyway he can.
