Do you know of any good reason why members/posters of GM should/could not form ourselves into a buying group for golf equipment, particularly as some of us are reluctant to use eBay!

Interested in what people think about the TM Balls, I found the Reds cut up pretty quickly compared to ProVs & Srixon ZURS.

I've been using the slightly cheaper version, the Burner TP, and i've been suitable impressed.

I am trying to convince myself to "downgrade" from Pro Vs etc to a middle ground ball. I have half a dozen ProVs & a few ZURCs left but have decided to go for one of the following next:

TP Burner, NXT Tour, Srixon Tri Speed.

Have you tried all of these? I like a soft ball to putt with if that helps.

I have tried the Taylormade burner TP and it is an excellent ball, it feels soft off every club in the bag and is right up there with the pro v1 as my top ball to putt with. Excellent ball for the price.
Also found a Srixon soft feel the other day on the course and again this was one very soft ball to putt with

I've played all season with Burner TP until last week. Really struggling on the greens for the last 3-4 weeks. Hit a par 4 in regulation and then 7 (SEVEN!!!) putted plus a 2 stroke penalty for hitting a moving ball!! 11 from having a 30 foot birdie putt. Next round changed putter - no joy so back to the 2 ball. Half way round started hitting 2 balls, one of which was a former play ball Pro V. It seemed to go to the hole like a magnet. My touch and pace were back immediatly without doing anything.

I am now back on the Pro V but must admit I still like the TP burner. Probably just a mind thing just now but man was I needing something to pull me up. Everychance I will use TP again, especially in winter.

ps The spin is nowhere near as good as the Pro V. Played today and everything stuck to the green or came back.

Boa - think about it.

£24.99 + £3.99 delivery. Thats £28.98.  Can get a dozen from a local pro for £30.

OK so you order 10 dozen. £250 + delivery - maybe still £3.95, maybe more, could be free, so I order 10 dozen on behalf of others.

They arrive at my house, but I have to get them to you - oh postage costs... yep we're back up to near £30 again!

Might as well just order for self or use local pro.
