Hi people,

I have recently joined another golf forum (traitor, i know) that is ran by, or in partnership with, a golf tuition called 3 skills golf. From reading what people have wrote in the forum it seems that this teaching technique can yield great results. The comments were so positive that i have ordered the book for my self, haven't received it yet however i cant wait to have a read and try the drills.

Just wondering if any of you have tried this and if so what results have you had.

Cheers

Shaggy,

You can't always trust positive comments on forums, especially if they are made by someone with only a few posts to their name. I hope you enjoy your book though.

Shaggy,

Keep us posted though, I too have looked at getting the book, and will think about it again if things work out for you. What sort of H/C are you playing to at the moment?

Thanks for the responces guys.

I currently play in a local society about onece a month and my handicap there is at 21. If i have a good day i can play to an 18, however most rounds i have a blow out hole that pushes my score up. Just joined at a course near me (oakmere park) so i should start playing more often which should help.

Il let you know when i get the book and have tried some of the drills. I believe that it was featured on setanta golf once but i cant find any videos on the net of it.

Cheers, Shaggy

How do they send it?, carrier Pidgin!?

Can you remember how long yours took to come?

Want to get out and practice it!

The book came today (finally). Sent them a few emails and the guy sent me one out for next day delivery, which was good of him.

Read the book through this morning and just come back from the range after practicing the technique and drills.

The concept focuses purely on getting a solid connection on impact by splitting it down into 3 simple skills. There are drills included to master the skills and ways of implement the 3 skills together.

The book simplifies the skills down very well and make them all easy to understand. The book also teaches you to forget all swing thoughts and focus more on visualizing the shot you want to achieve.

On the range i had some good results. Noticed the biggest difference with my driver, helped me produce some nice draw, which i don't normally achieve, and i didn't hit a slice. Bad shots would either stay out right or have too much draw and finish too far left.

Iron shots were also crisper. My 9 iron carry was averaging around 140 yards, which is normally my 8 iron distance. Was also getting a nice bit of draw which i haven't been getting since i changed my irons to some G2's.

Overall im pleased with the initial results. Going to try off the grass next time i go to the range to see if i get the same results.

Cheers, Ross
