I use Footjoy gloves almost exclusively.

I had a callaway glove that lasted AGES and was amazing. I just generally get any old glove aslong as it fits. I heard Bionic gloves are worth a go.

I like Footjoy WeatherSof GTXs - available from about £7 each. They're good for me because the fingers are slightly shorter than some, you don't get annoying flappy fingertips. They aren't terrific in heavy rain (what is?), but pretty good otherwise, and last well too. I have one in white, so I know they're available, and they come with a nice magnetic ball marker built in.

 |
Footjoy Sci Flex or Titleist Perm Soft for me, always buy them as small as possible as I hate them feeling loose.

 |
Take some immodium

Tesco gloves aren't bad. I don't generally go for the 'value' one, but the tesco premium glove is as good as a footjoy for about £4-5.

Do they still do them ? Can't find any on the net ? is it best to go with a leather Glove ?

Tried several, settled on Nike - trouble with these is finding any other colour, they seem to only be white!

I now use the Bionic glove. Once used to the extra padding, you get a wondeful amount of grip and control. Mine also last about 3 times as long as a normal Mizuno leather I used to use.

If your grip is slipping that much it may be the rubber 'grip' and nothing to do with gloves. Gamola golf on the side of the site do EXCELLENT value and quality grips. Sharpro, take your pick in the style, hardly a bad one among them. I have settled on the Golf Pride copies. About £2.40 a grip, Half cord and soft at the bottom. 12 should arrive tomorrow.

Excellent gloves are the Titleist Players and the Taylormade R7, both all leather and super soft. Top notch for grip and comfort

I must have had every single leather glove on the market. Most of them wore out very quickly so I paid for a Titliest Sta-Soft. It was a couple of quid more at £16 but has been fantastic. Its barely worn at all after a solid month of playing and got soaked last weekend and has come back lovely and soft. It hasnt stretched at all either. It is simply the best glove I have ever owned.

Couple of things come to mind one is that with some gloves the thumb rucks up and becomes uncomfortable, the second is that water proof gloves are so hot to wear in the summer SO my choice is always Mizuno waterproof in winter and when its raining leather other wise.. they seems to wear OKish but I would prefer a pad at the base of the thumb.. But I may try the Bio one does that mean its green?

Footjoy all day long mate. Any model will do for me, but I personally prefer the WeatherSof... Hope this helps!
