Best advice I ever got was "ignore the advice!" You can't walk five yard without being given some advice. God forbid you read a magazine you'll get more conflicting info than you can shake a 4 iron at - no matter how tight you grip it.
Every one talks about good rhythm, consistent swings. These things take ages and will never happen if you change something every time you hit the range.
Golfers everywhere - abandon advice - a pro might say they can make a change in a week, but they are changing the most minute of details and are hitting 500 balls a day. Amateurs go for wholesale change and try and do it with 50 swings a week.
Barmy...
And now I've got to spend the next nine holes with a niggling doubt about b****y grip pressure, what next? AAAAARRRRRRRHHHHHHHH
