After the last few comps i was getting a bit disheartened net 67-82-77-74.
I'm an 18 Hcp and last nights round went like this.
Front nine
1-Par 5. Drive slice right 250 yards, 9iron lay up short of burn. 8 iron LHS bunker. crap lie at back stance out of bunker = duff. next flopped out to six feet. 1 putt =6
2-Par 5. duff 3 wood. duff in thick. 170 with 3 wood. 3 wood just short of green. chip on 2 putt = 7
3-Par 3. 7 iron just short of top level rolls to bottom level. poor first putt comes back down. get up the hill and finish 2 foot. hole out = 4
4-Par4. 3 wood down right, PW to just off back left, chip on and 1 putt = 4
5-Par4. 3 Wood up Left, PW to back of green -12ft miss left hole out = 4
6-Par 3. 9i to front bunker. 60* rolls out 8ft past, hole out = 3
7-par 4. 3 wood good up right. fat wedge to front level of green 30-40ft putt leave it 4ft short - hole out =4
8-Par 4. 3 wood left in semi. wedge in to 5ft and hole out = 3
9-par 4. 3 wood into boondai- 3 off tee chip on 2 putts = 6
Back nine
10-Par 4. 3 wood, pw hit bounces off edge of green in to thick and nettles. wedge out 1 putt = 4
11-Par 4. 3 Wood, 52* to back of green, 25ft leave a ft short hole for a 4
12-Par 3. easy 8, 30 ft putt 12 ft past!!!! hole it for a 3
13-par 4. 3 wood, PW to 15ft. putt to a foot. hole out for a 4.
14-Par4. 3 wood down right in light rough. PW to about 20ft. 2ft past hole out = 4
15 Par 4, 3 wood down right, 8 iron to green, 10ft putt just past. holed out = 4
16 Par 3, hooked OOB. Hit 3i just short. Chipped on 2 putt = 6
17 Par 4, 3 wood a bit high only 160 off tee, 3 wood, chip on 1 putt = 4
18 Par 4, 3 wood, bit left. Trees in way knock 8 iron through them, PW hit bank between levels rolled back to front of green, 1 putt up 5ft past, hole it. = 5
After a poor start, i really got things going and could have been a few better. Lets see if i can keep it going when i get that horrid little white card in my hand on Saturday even if it is a Stableford comp.
