 Have been reading for a little while and have found the site very helpful - thank you.

 I have recently moved into the North East London area. I am looking for some advice regarding a good coach please.

Having moved down from the North I dont know anybody or reputations. I am 2.2 at the moment (going up!) and need help and to be able to trust I am in good hands, so a recomendation would be fantastic please.

 Have been to the range on the North Circular and also the Direct Golf one near Romford. Both of these seem like good ranges and have coaches from CGA??? I am looking for someone who will go the extra mile and isn't just there to take my money.

I think there are about 40 pro's on here in my area, but no background on them.

hey mic im from the same area and go to the same ranges and have had lessons at both.

i was having lessons with a guy called james at the one in romford, i thought he was really good knew my swing and we went for a playing lesson used the video camera alot. but i stopped working in the area, and was only going there once a month for a lesson.

i decided that as the north circular range was closer and i was down there 3 times a week i would try lessons with a pro there. ive had 3 lessons with him and its diffrent used the camera once in 3 lessons and hes fee went up after just one lesson, though im not sure if thats the whole cranfield thing.

 We should meet up have a game i live in leyton so laods of course around

I would recommend Paul Sullivan at the North Weald Driving range (near the Harlow junction of the M11), I understand he coaches several county players and seems to have a genuine interest in his pupils. If you want more details pm me and I'll pass on his contact details or just give the range a call.

Thanks everyone, great help, but think I have made up my mind. Went over to the range last night and stood in the next bay to one of the pro's while he gave a lesson. (another good tip I picked up on here!)

Haven't booked in yet but I think I will and I will let you know how it goes.
