 Having watched all three reps and having watched them frame-by-frame'ish, I have to say that it bares more than a passing resemblence to "Spine & Flo's" swing, well, the leg action at least - seriously. He's one of the better golfers on here (certainly knocks me into a cocked hat) but the one thing I can see (and which has been recounted to S&F by many a pro through the years) is the leg movement. I'm not saying keep your legs rigid (far from it) but if you could "keep the base a little firmer" it might help you. While both knees appear to be behind the ball at the top of the backswing, your hips torso and head are ahead of the ball. On the throughswing you correct this and your head and torso end up behind the ball at impact (a good thing - unless you were trying to hit a knock down shot??). However this would indicate a reverse weightshift and that can have an effect on distance. I think the ball is a little too far back in your stance (although I can't tell what club that is) and this could be causing you to get steep on the ball (did you hit the 1st one fat?). Maybe 3-4 inches further forward - towards your left toe - with a slight tilt away from the target could help with this (once again, providing you weren't trying to hit a knock down shot?). Unfortunately I'm one of these sh!t golfers offering up sh!t advice so there's no substitute for a lesson with a pro. Even though they (pros) pointed the leg movement to S&F he says that quieting down his legs "just doesn't feel right" and it affects his ball striking (which is pretty sweet as is). I hope you don't think I'm being a tw*t on this Aces, it's just that I suffered from similar problems myself, but hey, you could already be a million times better than me so please feel free to tell me to "shut up fat boy!"

Agree with Chris on the point of the ball being a bit far back in your stance. But don't know what iron and it could just be that the camera is just off angle a bit. Just looked as though you moved your left foot forward more than you moved your right foot back. but hey i'm an 18 handicrap.

Josh, Yeah i have always suffered with leg movement, got so bad my right leg was collaspsing to a point i was struggling to hit a ball, so must have let it creep back into my game Whats a leaderboard? Chris, Not at all on the Tw*t front, posted it to get peoples opinion. Yeah noticed the ball looked a little far back, normally i play it further infront, was hitting a 9 iron

 i had the same problem not long ago very easy to fix. Hers is 2 drills to help use waht one u feel comfertable with 1. lift your left heel sligtly you could put a ball under your heel and take your swing, sounds wierd but its gold 2. take your set up and turn your left foot as far as you can towards the target take your swing this will give you excellent coil, and your legs wont collapse. A leader board is a training device used to sort out coil and leg stabilty excellent bit of kit i want one but cost about 150 quid

I agree about the legs and the ball position being to far back( even for a 9 iron). You left leg is ok and if you just try and keep the inside of your right foot on the ground during the backswing, that should stabalize the right knee.

 Chris asked me to chime in here as I have had similar issues Aces the third swing looks best to me. You have a small sway, which is bit diff to me, as I have a prob lifting and replanting my left foot sometimes and tend to hit off my right side due to improper weight transfer and an excessively upper body dominated swing. This is because I have the flexibility of a phat corpse. A small sway is not a massive problem and is easier to cure than replanting. You can put a shaft in the ground beside your right leg ( it needs to be more braced, with a slight knee flex) or a piece of pipe insulation foam with a bamboo stick in it, to stop it. Your mind will become trained into thinking its always there. The result will be more consistent ball striking. Looks like you play on a windy links, so ball position being slightly back ( depending on iron being used ) is not a bad idea to keep trajectory down with an easy swing wiht usually more club. At the end of the day, there are a million different swings that work. Its only an issue if it is TO YOU and its spoiling your enjoyment. Its been said by many a Top Pro, Swing Guru and Chris the only thing that really matters is the moment of impact. It matters not if you take a Happy Gilmore run up to it or swing like a hammer thrower, as long as you square the club face to ball at impact. S&F says........... Swing Ugly but Score Well

To be honest i been swinging the club fairly well of late but ball striking can be a little inconsistant and now i know why! So will work on stabilsing my legs.

 Not a bad swing at all, mate. I totally agree with S&P about the last swing being best. How's your flexibility? If you did some streatching exercises you'll find it easier to make a decent turn without buckling that right leg out. I'd work on incorporating a little Hogan-esque kick in of the right knee to initiate your swing. This will keep your weight on the inside of the right foot. You have to swing within your feet for balance and power. Just work on this with only 1/2 and 3/4 swings. It will feel restricted to begin with, but you'll soon be hitting it better than ever.

To be honest the clip was a little rushed, as i was due to tee and not warmed up at all, so in reality the first couple where just practice swings, didnt know how to cut the video to just the last swing which is more typical of my "normal swing". Any clips to see what a Hogan-esque kick looks like as he was well before my time

 Can't find any, Aces. Simply kick your right knee in towards the target slightly then feel like you hold that tension on the way back.
