Hi, a group of about 20 of us are thinking of going to the algarve in march 2009, any suggestions welcome please.

Well, if you have decided on the Algarve the choice is huge, so it depends on your budget, preferences, handicaps and tastes!

We are all high handicappers, and would probably be on a budget of between £150-200, this is for our digs and our golf for 3-4days.

Dont want to be a fly in the ointment but l would doubt if you could fly there for that.

Have a look at Tunisia. Port El Kantoui has a cracking 36 hole course that was reasonable last time I was there. I think that thewre are now about 3 courses over there, so may be worth a look

No where in Euro land is cheap especially Villamura in Portugal unless you get a deal and go self catering .

why not try somewhere in the alps? would be just as hot as in portugal, but with stunning scenery and plenty of other things to do. I know that the ski resorts where i go in Italy and France all have golf courses as one summer activity.
