Always trying to lighten the load!

Thinking about losing the 3 wood from the bag. Already got rid of the 3 iron however l was also thinking of getting a hybrid at a decent cover loft which can mean I can carry that, driver and then 5 thru' wedge.

Anyone got anything worth considering? Or even thoughts on this strategy? Not to sure what loft at the moment, reckon maybe between 20-24 deg.

Ideally stiff shaft.

Thanks, Ross

I think that you may struggle to cover that big gap from driver to 5-i with one hybrid.

3 wood is 15 deg, 4i replacement is typically in the region of a 7 wood or 24° hybrid.

Got a Taylor Made 3 rescue - 19 degree loft in very good condition with new grip - no cover would like £45-00 plus £3-00 postage.

I have a Bridgestone J33 Hybrid with 18 degrees of loft, great for off the tee of the deck.  Stiff shaft fitted £45 posted.

PM for details

Regulator - yeah think you are right I have a 16* hybrid so reckon a 21/23 may be the answer.
