It's the course where Sandy Lyle played as an amateur. Both courses are pretty good and the hotel is ok too - though bar prices can be a bit steep.

Echo Tim's point. It is above average - the old course is very pretty but quite easy. The new is a bit American in places but it is certainly better than many courses I have played. A nice part of the world
