Just bought a Nike Dri Fit base layer, but having never worn one before I'm not sure exactly how tight it should be. It's bloody tight! I can see you'd get used to it, but is it supposed to feel like it's pulling a bit under the armpits? I'm sort of between sizes really.

My Helly Hansen one is snug, but doesn't feel like it's pulling at all. I'm not really that conscious of having it on really.

Spandex?

I am not entirely sure how they are meant to fit. I know they are meant to fit tight but how tight i am not sure. To know i guess you are gonna have to post a picture.... hahaha kidding.

They do feel a bit snug if you aren't used to wearing them.  I have different versions from Adidas, Canterbury and Under Armour and they are all snug fitting, but once on they don't feel as if they are pulling.

23rdman, you will forget you are wearing it after about 10 mins, and yes they are supposed to be snug they act like a 2nd skin.

Meant to be skintight. Won't do it's job properly if it's all over the place. Wear it for a day to stretch it and it'll be fine.

These things are invaluable to the all-year round golfer imo. I've got the matching long johns as well!

Is it tight on the seams under the arm or just tight in general?   Thats how I decide if something is the right size as the seams don't stretch much but the rest does.  If its the seams it generally feels like they are cutting into you.

Just been out and about in it and it feels fine now. so fine, in fact, I popped into the local golf shop and picked up a Hogen Apex blade for practising with
