Yes, I tend to change my balls when it's colder.

In the past few months on cold mornings, I've opted for distance balls rather than spin. I need all the help I can get in the chilling English weather!

This summer I played the srixon zurs and now I am playing the much cheaper nike power distance. But I am thinking of playing Titleist NXT tour all year long now. I really like this ball..from all balls I've tried this ball is for me the longest of the tee and generates for me enough spin on the greens when needed.

All the ( nearly new ) distance balls found in the summer months I use when the course is soft. The soft balls found in the winter I save for the summer

I need a really slippery one that the crows can't fly off with. B'stards!

To be a touch more precise - this summer I was using Pro V1x, this winter I've been sampling Callaway's new big bertha beauties

I'm trying the new Titleist PTS Carry for the winter,

My Thinking is ~ Theres no point having a ball rolling to a premature halt on Soggy fairways!

So I figure having it just Carry a bit further in the air before landing may be good!

Gotta say Im pretty impressed with the Balls performance so far!

Last year I tried the Nike Powersoft in the winter.  Wanted a softer feeling ball for those cold days.  Turned out they're pretty good balls too.  Good distance and putt nicely.

Plus the swoosh looks good with my ball marking.
