Looking at picking one up whilst they are on sale for just £19.99

A good club?

Where are they on sale at that price ?

I think the are the cheap JJB variety, am I right ?

For that price I will get one myself.

I have the R7 draw variety and it is pretty good.

The jjbgolf website gives the price as £59.

Is this an instore promo price ?

Our local JJB did used to stock Taylor Made gear but gave them up in favour of

Maxfli and Slazenger plus Torrance and Jacklin thrown as experts in a while ago.

They are on sale at my local JJB.

Should I go for it? Only a few left so I'll pick one up tomorrow if so.

Also, do JJB ever supply head covers? Or do I need to purchase separately?

And one more thing!

....If I want to buy a hybrid (it'll be only one in the bad)...is a 5 a good choice?

JJB - Cheltenham.

Would it be a versatile club?

5 iron 25 degree

4 iron 22 degree

3 iron 19 degree

All are a good choice tbh. I have a 5 iron  R7 draw and it is a good club out of the rough or fairway.

I will be checking my JJB tomorrow, I fancy a 22 degree.

I can pick a couple up at my local JJB if anyone wants one (and no other store has the promotion).

Let me know via pm and we can work out postage etc.

I went back yesterday morning and they had all been put back up to £59.99! I asked an employee who said that they had been incorrectly marked down for the one day. Still - if I did decide to purchase they would have either had to have given it to me for the lower price, or just decide not to sell to me in the first place. I reckon they would have chosen the latter!

Apparently the price on an item is an "invitation to buy" and it is down to the store whether they "choose" to sell you something.

I am guessing you would have been greeted with a "computer says no" response.
