my brother told me of a book,i think its called"the match" or "the game"which is about a caddy turned car salesman.
can anyone give me the name so i can aquire one.

Do you mean Claifornia Dreaming, which is about Lawrence Donegan who used to be in the Bluebells? He wrote "4 Iron in the soul" when he became a caddy for a year, and then went to California and became a used car salesman in "California Dreaming".

The first one is very good. The second is also surprisingly good.

I think Robert is correct.

Eddie Lowery caddied for Francis Ouimet in 1913 US Open, then become a wealthy car dealer and brokered The Match in 1956 which was Ben Hogan & Byron Nelson versus 2 crack amateurs.

Both books by Mark Frost are excellent.
