Further to another thread.

An opponenet of mine had a 2 sided chipper in his bag.

I have now confirmed it is illegal and told him and he was ok about it.

But what is the penalty for use of an illegal club ?

I don't use a 2-sided chipper but I have seen them.

Why are they illegal? What part of Rule 4-1 do they contravene?

I would suggets the penalty depends on the round:-

Competition : Disqualified (as per Rules Doc'c reply)

Social : Merciless ribbing and general abuse.

If a two-sided chipper is spotted in the bag, Merciless Ribbing and General Abuse must be a given either case - DQ or no DQ.
