Hi,

Before I go and do this...... is there anything within the rules of golf which prevents me removing the paint from a driver and respraying in a different colour??????

I couldn't find anything but didn't want to go and shoot a great score then by DQ'd.

For clarification - the only bits that are changing colour are the bits that are currently black - no changes to the underside or clubface itself.

You're not painting it pink like the shaft are you ?

@Fengibbon -

You can spray paint your driver the way you describe it.

I hope you know that 'day-glo' is forbidden as being in poor taste. If you choose pink or lilac you have to play from the red tees.

MacBludgeon took all the paint off one of his drivers and polished the titanium, like chrome.

Very handy for putting your lippy on before walking up the 18th green

.... but an absolute bugger in bright sunlight.

Some time ago I fancied having a picture airbrushed on the crown - summat like a sunset with a naked lass walking into the sea. Decided against it as it might have interfered with my swing

yes I remember MacB's chrome jobby at Channels / Gog.

I have a very cunning plan for this little beauty though..............
