Where's the leap? I think it's Taylormade that are tinkering not the players! I'm sure this will be a great club and will helpa load of people, but to say it's a new idea is a bit (a lot) patronising....

Far be it from me to burst Taylormades bubble, but here is some info for people thinking about this who have R7 technology already. Buy extra weights (£8 each), promote more draw / fade bias up to 35 yards (?) and you have the 'new' driver. You can already buy 14 gram weights and it looks like you will get 16's soon as well. I regularly tinker with my weights. I have 11 weights from 1 - 14 gram. I currently have my SuperQuad at a low, very slight draw bias (1 gram more in the back heel) but could have about a 20 gram difference if I wanted. This is more than the 16 gram move in the 'new' club.

No there will new performance due to changed shafts, the club will have a greater moi and lowest center of gravity out of all the r7 range. The head is light-weight and the shaft has a more ballanced weight throughout the shaft. The shots are more straight and constant. The shots will be long but the r7 Limited will be more about keeping your shots the way you shaped them. :: Prototype tested :: I think this club will be a big hit in it release but when i put a club in my bag it will still be the Tour Burner TP 460cc

What utter utter utter tripe TM is talking. really, golfers do let themselves down sometimes with their willingness to shell out obscene sums of cash on new gear, on the promise of all these miniscule technological "improvements". None of it ends up doing any b****y good.
