I'm down in sunny Essex, bit windy today but still very playable in short sleeves

Course closed over the weekend leading to the cancellation of the Autumn meeting.

Now this is good news for me coz I was working and couldn't play. So hopefully now I will be able to

However today I was informed that it may be moved to finals day (I am in the mixed 4somes final) and this will really cause me some hassle if it leads to me taking time of work.

So yes the weather is damaging my enjoyment.

It doesn't help that this crap wet summer has effected my parkland course again.

It is getting that bad that I am considering leaving to go to a local links course (assuming they would have me).

Aaargh, It's raining again !!!

(Was fine & sunny yesterday, but I was working)

Have given up on local parkland courses - they're all waterlogged.  Am starting to look for courses built on sandy soil and/or links courses which are easy to get to & within my budget.
