My partner and I have qualified to play a regional final at this course. Anyone know anything about it?

About 14 of us went there last year, i would have thought you will play the championship course with it being a final. If i recall you need to be fairly accurate from the tee, not a load of room for wayward tee-shots, the course is tree lined on most holes. Wouldn't say it was a hard course but when you've had a few jars the night before it plays longer . Anyway LGL you should enjoy it. Goodluck with the final

Thanks BD. Sounds good. It's one of 4 regional finals I believe. I think the top 3 pairs from each regional qualifier then get to go to Portugal for a week in January. Wouldn't that be nice? We've played 4 rounds of better ball match play so far. We'll just enjoy each stage we're in. All good fun and you get to meet some very interesting people along the way.

Any chance you'll encounter a Sunningdale pair on the way??

Any chance you'll encounter a Sunningdale pair on the way?? LOL - wouldn't that be great. I don't think so Alan, I think we're the only girls in the comp.

LGL, you might want to practice on there, or get a good planner - a few blind holes, with death in the blind bits (reedy ponds, someone's back garden on the corner of the dogleg). Was also a bit wet last time I played, which was a few years ago. Nice track though - I enjoyed it the half-dozen or so times I played it
