I have just bought myself a M6.4 GT off Ebay and was maybe going to get the weight kit for it depending on cost. Are they available in the UK or is it only in the states? Also can anyone confirm that it's the MOI weight kit I would require?Oh and how much lighter will my wallet be?

TIA.

IF you find one Marky, let me know as I have been looking for one for ages.

You can get them from Edwin Watts in the US but they are like rocking horse poo over here.

p.s. hope you enjoy your MK6.4GT.  Great club.  I knocked an inch off the shaft and fitted it with a Winn AVS midsize grip which worked superbly for me.

Will do mate, but as you say not to be had, checked ebay Uk+US with no results.

Ref. taking an inch of the club is it just a case of stripping the grip, hacksaw it off the top, clean the cut then re-grip?

Well, that is generally the case but in this instance I got my pro to do it and he said he had a real problem getting off the original grip, and this was with a brand new putter.

Apparently the Winn grip (which is also fitted as standard) is a sod and a half to remove and in the end he had to cut it off.  I think it's down to their method of construction.  However, the replacement grip I got is the same but just in mid-size which gave me a lot more stability to my stroke.

I fitted a Winn Medalist Midsize to my TM Spider. Like it a lot. Sorry no help on original question.

Can't help sorry either as I've been looking for a while too.

Bought mine for $29! from golfetail as a second purchase when buying a Sonartec 3 wood. The 3 wood is long gone, but I just love this putter (think I wrote a review actually) and agree with the previous posters, I've cut mine down to 33' and fitted a chunky golf pride grip. Use the thick line in the middle of the putter on the bottom as an alignment aid, follow through and you cant go wrong!

Good luck in the search, we're all watching!

Sent an email to Macgregor UK to see if they can do anything, read on another thread the guy picked it up from them for £11. Not holding out, but worth a go.

Gonna leave the shaft and see how it goes on the course, if it aint broke...........
