Oh yes! Eating and Drinking alone with not a single reality TV programme to pollute the atmosphere! Bliss! Nowt wrong with Haggis either, Its actually Quite tasty with Tatties and neeps!

I like Haggis too, must be because we're Sassanachs .

But then again I love Doner Kebabs too! It must be the Surprise contents element! You haven't got a clue whats in them but who cares if they taste good!

You're not wrong there Ian2 , but gone are the days of the Ring Stinger the morning after , fraid Madras is gentler on the ass plus my gut can't take a Vindaloo anymore
Anyway back to the topic , I find SOUP a let down , Beef goulash SOUP Yuk! its just hot water with a bit of flavour , you can't get your teeth in to it and feel as though its a case of wasted effort , just like cuppa Soups , you dunk and soak it up with bread just to add substance to a watery meal. Give me Real Grub anyday.

Fair play, Jim - hard times call for desperate measures. Besides, if you start pampering your kids with quilted bog roll, they'll grow up asking for driving range heaters and pre-heated clothes.
Goulash update - it's back on the menu! Just tucking into some tasty Goulash Soup as I type. Mmmmmm.
McS - Fantastic news. Many members of this forum will be mightily relieived this unchtime.

They are spoiling you McStumpy , just make the most of it while it lasts , it could be a softner for impending redundancies.
Good point, Sham - I'll need to find out what Lloyds TSB goulash policy is.
