Hello,

I'll be in the Shropshire/Mid Wales area over Christmas and was wondering if there are any courses you think are worth playing. I've already played the courses listed below, but always enjoy discovering new ones. Preference for courses that don't have winter greens, but I'm not that fussy. Thanks.

Hawkstone, Whitchurch, Market Drayton...all terrific courses and well worth a visit; in the Northern part of the County.

'Long Mynd' got a good write-up the other day in one of the golf magazines. Got it on my list to play next time I'm back in Shropshire to see my parents.
